For the Love of Cake

Strolling through the newly developed Liberty Village, I was pleasantly surprised to see a cupcake shop as one of the new kids on the block.  For the Love of Cake with Cake artist Genevieve Griffin who subscribes to the 4 dimension cupcake philosophy by playing with different combinations of
1. cake bases
2. filling
3. toppings
4. garnishes
making her offerings the most innovate flavours around town.
From the subtle Japanese Ginger with a blueberry filling which is light but hits you with a zing, to Salty Caramel which is the perfect savoury sweet combination and an another favourite for gal who prefers savoury over sweet things.  There's the delicate strawberry shortcake and the delicious mint chocolate cake as well.  There are classic flavours like the red velvet, carrot, coconut, chocolate, lemon and peanut butter for those uncontrollable cravings as well.
There are also what Genevieve calls 'mancakes' for the guys in our lives with big bold flavours using profiles like maple bacon with bits of actual bacon in the cake, to Guinness chocolate and Stout Spice!

She also is a cake master and makes brilliant custom orders and currently hosts a fierce competition for those bakers out there- the Iron Cupcake challenge revealing a secret ingredient each month!  April's secret ingredient is COFFEE!
Hey Genevieve, I'm available to judge :)!!!
